Apostle Ezekiel Guti has died.
He was 100.
Born on 5. May 19, 1923, Guti was one of the most accomplished and greatest Apostles to grace the Zimbabwean Pentecostal movement.
Guti celebrated his 100th birthday in May, under pomp and fanfare as his legion of followers praised God for his life.
Known for his simple teaching style, working of miracles and expansive apostolic work around the world, Guti will be remembered as one who gave his life to the preaching of the gospel.
Ministering alongside his wife, Eunor , Guti was revered in the Pentecostal echelons of Zimbabwe, being regarded as the father of the evangelical movement.
He founders Zaoga Forward In Faith in 1960, a movement that has grown to over 50 countries worldwide.
Guti is credited for mentoring most pastors in Zimbabwe, with his Bindura parish often a common site for prayerful pilgrims.
During his life, he also founded the Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU).
