High riding gospel maestro, Minister Michael Mahendere is set to warm up Harare gardens this weekend as he hosts the July Worship Festival.
The gospel event slated for 22 and 23 July will draw music lovers from across the country as gospel musicians continue to host world class concerts.
Gospel enthusiasts are expected brave the chilly weather for a worship experience with one of the most sought after musicians over the past decade.
Mahendere, a seasoned musso with several hits to his credit will be supported by fellow artists, Tinashe Magacha, Everton Mlalazi, Welcome Nhariswa and Mai Chinembiri.
“We are trusting God for a moment of refreshment where we sing songs and allow everyone to enjoy. We believe this festival will grow in the future and that it will go for a week with different worshipers doing their thing in Harare gardens,” Mahendere told TheNewsReportLive.
Mahendere paid homage to fellow musicians for their support towards the event.
“We have receive support from fellow artists. We are grateful to the Manyowa family, Minister Takesure Zamar, Minister Ellard, Pastor G. We believe the weather will be favorable for us today and tomorrow,” he said.
Mahendere is popular for his high energy performances, coupled with well crafted choreography and soul searching lyrics.
Later this month, the 39-year-old musician will later this month perform in the UK.
