
Travis Greene jets in for Zim show
American gospel musician, Travis Greene is in the country for what promises to be an explosive show at Celebration Centre in Harare.
Travis Greene, who is dating southern Africa for the second time in three months after a successful show at Wow Fest Zambia, alongside Nigerian Minister GUC will be supported by several local artistes.
These include, South Africa based, Takesure Zamar Ncube, Minister Michael Mahendere, Joyful Praise Choir, Unlocked Gospel DJ and Psalmist Hubert Chigumira.
“We are here and excited. I am here with my friends , thank you so much. It is going to be an amazing time in the presence of God. i am here with my queen,” Greene said as he gave his wife Jackie a chance to speak to the media.
“We have been received with a warm welcome and we are so excited about what the Lord is going to do,” Jackie said after the couple arrived at the Robert Mugabe International Airport on Thursday.
Speaking about the concert, one of the organisers, Rudo Magwenzi, said that attendees should come expectant of a miracle.
“Come expectant of a miracle, as ‘The Shift’ is an opportunity for us to worship together and close the year on a high.
“We have selected a line-up of seasoned performers and worshippers whom we believe are going to add a new dimension to the show,” Rudo Magwenzi said.
Meanwhile, The Sunday Mail reports that the tickets to the concert have since been reduced to US$20 from US$30 after Travis Greene chipped in.
“We have received a sponsorship package from the main guest artiste, Pastor Travis Greene, which saw us reducing the price of our tickets to accommodate more worshippers..”
