TOP Zimdancehall chanter, Winky D new album has stirred a social media frenzy, amid expectations that 2022 will close with another good offering from the seasoned musician.
With music critics arguing that local artists have failed to produce decent albums this year, stakes are high ahead of Winky D’s new offering Eureka album launch at HICC in Harare.
Winky D who is well-known for his his deep lyrical content, bordering on science fanatism has already sparked a frenzy with the release of the new album artwork.
His previous album, Gaffa Futi contains subjects of aliens and beings from outer-space, with the artist naming himself one adding to the list of his monicker-names.
Winky D confirmed to Star FM host, KVG that the new album was a continuation of the similar subjects he addressed in the previous projects.
“It is a continuation,” he said.
“I hear people saying there is science in the music, there is science everywhere. Concerning the Winky D projects, we are just a mirror of what the society is going through,” Winky D added.
The light bulbs and an inscription Aha Eureka Eureka got fans talking on social media, with his die hard followers itching to know the contents of the much anticipated offering.
Like his previous albums, Njema, Gaffa Futi among others where Winky D flirts with science and physics concepts, morphed into songs, fans can only imagine what Eureka Eureka has to offer.

Eureka is an interjection used to celebrate an invention or discovery.
Fans wonder what the lyrical genius has discovered this time around.
In the interview, the dancehall chanter explains that the album is meant to bring people with divergent views together, confirming suspicions that the project could be laden with political innuendos as the country gears towards the 2023 polls.

The album art has also been a subject to jokes, with observers urging those who will attend to have passed mathematics and physics at High School.
Fans will have to wait a few more days before the album drops, maybe they will have that Eureka moment at HICC.
